Lee Pappas
Owner | Head Trainer | Level 2 Certified
Lee established the Brethren House of Fitness in 2008 with a mission to improve all athletes from young children to young-at-heart seniors and everybody in between. He knows age is only a number “The only limitations we have in life are the limitations we create!” His enthusiasm is contagious and he positively affects all those he works with on a daily basis.

Ray Espinoza

Participating in CrossFit since 2007, Danny understands everyone’s abilities, potential, and willingness to become a better version of themselves. Danny is a driving force in encouraging members to safely and effectively reach their goals. He makes each member feel included no matter how large the class is.

Steve Brown
Level 1 Certified
Steve grew up in Morgan Hill as a multi-sport athlete. He married Aimee in 2002 and while raising their children, became a fat dad (his words) in his 30’s. In 2012, he found CrossFit was the solution, quickly losing 40lbs and packing on 20lbs of lean body mass. Steve earned his level one certification in 2015 and currently conducts personal training sessions at Brethren with a focus on mobility and strength training.

Sheldon Steinhuas
Level 2 & Strongman Certified
A CrossFit athlete since 2009 and a chiropractor with a deep understanding of biomechanics, Sheldon is passionate about helping others move better and live healthier. Holding CrossFit Level 1, Level 2, and Strongman certifications, his expertise spans multiple training styles. As a dog lover, camping and off-roading enthusiast, and former soccer player, Sheldon’s focus has and always will be on keeping people alive and thriving through movement.

Jessica Hendrickson
Athlete
Growing up as an athlete, always competing with her twin brother and playing collegiate rugby, Jess thrives off of a good challenge… and she finds it every day at Brethren. The day she walked through that big roll-up door at BCF in 2019 her life changed for the better. As a busy working mom of 2 young boys, Jess has found a sacred space and a community at Brethren.
